Barefoot running feature in Melbourne Age newspaper

One of the best articles I've

One of the best articles I've seen in a long time. A couple of awkward bits, but that's an artifact of trying to write cleverly. I don't think I'll ever forget the BF guru's line equating BFR to unsafe sex.

Good article, really long,

Good article, really long, but good. The only thing I really noticed, was in trying to stay neutralish, the writer almost to extremes on both ends. I could definately see someone like my wife reading this and only taking out the bad bits about barefoot running, while I can see others taking out only the good bits about barefoot running. I try to stay neutral on it so I can have an open and fair mind, even though I know I do lean more to the barefoot camp for myself. This article is so long, many people may only see the bad bits as they probably arent going to keep reading or keep interested.

When I read your quote, I thought he was equating BFR to unsafe sex in a bad way :) The sensation of BFR is like having sex without a condom. Very funny!

A shout out to David Hotz,

A shout out to David Hotz, Australia Chapter President, and the BRS is included.

I also like the line when referencing glass on the road...."Barefoot runners don't litter because they care," he reckons. "If you wear shoes, you don't give a shit."
