hi !

I just spent four weeks in Ecuador, small country with high mountains

a lot of 3/4 days treks (Cajas, Camino del Inca, Laguna del Altar, Quilotoa Loop, Laguna Mojanda),
mostly barefoot (it was always between 3700 and 4400m, there are no mosquitos / spiders / snakes, nothing dangerous)

and,
the summit Rucu Pichincha, 4,698 metres / 15,413 ft (we started at 4100m), my highest point without shoes !

to be honest, it was very easy for my feet (its two years now I'm playing with them) : no wind, no snow, no rain, no frost.

then we went to the volcano Cayambe (5785m), shoes were necessary...

Trip of a lifetime! Sounds awesome! :barefoot:
