Last Thursday I woke up and had problems seeing correctly out of my left eye with my contact. I replaced it thinking that maybe I had a bad one, but no change. I went to the eye Dr. that afternoon and found out that literally overnight my prescription had changed on that eye from -2.5 to -3.75. through some research I found that this could be caused by a mini stroke which can happen during sleep without me knowing. I go back to the eye Dr. today for a followup, I'm not running in the mean time because I'm a bit weary of what's going on.
Anyone heard of this happening? Possible causes?
Wish me luck!

High blood pressure can close in the nerves or lens. Go see your docs. Get meds but don't rely on them forever. Diet can be a big culprit. Hope it isn't serious.

That's scarey, Ram. I hope you will also be seeing an MD.

So I went back to the eye doc and my vision has started to recover. They suspect a muscle spasm in my eye causing it to not be able to focus as well. I know my blood pressure is good, I take it every day (I'm on a Hazmat emergency response team, we have to show we are healthy before donning the SCBA and chemical suits.)
Since I did just have a full physical a few months ago, they do not suspect any health issues. I'm in another temporary contact until we see that I have leveld back out. She said it's odd, but nothing to be concerned with medically, everything checks out fine medically.
Just more proof that I'm just not normal, but I think that was established a long time ago. My buddy M. M. Caw is proof of that! ;)

That darn rascal, M.M. Caw, strikes again!
