Altra Shoes, a class act!
As I mentioned before, a friend of mine who is handicapped had a house fire and lost everything a few weeks ago. I contacted my buddies Jimmy Hart and Jeremy Nef at Altra Shoes in hopes they would be interested in donating a pair of their shoes to her. Of course, they were pleased to be able to help out in that way; they're good people!
I selected the Altra 3-Sum because it is zero drop, lightweight, has a wide toe box, and has a quick easy-on and easy-off system, something she really needs to be able to do due to her condition.
With the easy-on transition pull-tabs and the quick-draw lacing system, these shoes allow the triathlete to be able to cut down on their transition times.
