From tapatalk, don't know if it'll look right or not.

Beautiful. Looks like some roads I've driven down in the Midwest; they seem like they go nowhere, but you want to go there anyway.

haha, yeah, I look for pavement like that to run on. Most of the roads here are too damn smooth!

here's another pic I took today, with a castle tower from the year 1472 in the background:

and a sign leading to a barefoot path in the same area:

True! A Barefoot Path! Ha!

Soft doggie.

Neat tower.

I knew there were barefoot parks in several European countries, but there really are random barefoot paths you just happen to run into in Gemany? Never saw even ONE here in the Detroit area!

I don't know about 'random'; communities put up fitness trails and barefoot paths, but they're organized recreational areas, in the woods, usually connected with some sort of nature education or whatnot. A barefoot path is always made of a variety of ground coverings, to give a complete barefoot experience. Might be 10 meters of coarse gravel followed by sand and then pinecones, etc. There are lot's of them here. But they're generally confined to a small area, not meant for bf runners per se.

Interesting Willie. Wonder why we don't have these here? Are people over there more open to barefootedness?

I saw one on TV like you're talking about, Board. It was in China, if I remember correctly. It was a park made specifically for people to take their shoes off and explore all the different textures and sensations. It showed people carrying their shoes in their hands and smiling trying to navigate some of the terrain. It was really interesting.
