Consider the cost of a pair of shoes that you no longer have to buy. Consider the amount you give to your favorite magazine for a subscription. If you feel the Barefoot Runners Society has made a difference in your life, please consider making a monetary donation. It's for a good cause, and with your help, we are changing the running world!
We thank our donors and supporters for their gracious contributions to the Barefoot Runners Society. We can't do this without you. Your donations allow the BRS to be THE biggest and best barefoot and minimalist running club in the world and enable people to run safer and healthier. THANK YOU!

For those members who donate to the BRS, we will add you to our list of donors (or you can remain anonymous), and we will have a special donor medal you can add to your signature (which will appear below your posts), so everyone who visits the site will know that you are a contributor to the BRS.
The signature medals/group listings are cumulative throughout the calendar year, meaning you can move from one donor level to the next and acquire a new seal, but they are not cumulative year-to-year. For example, Barefoot Joe donates $20 in a calendar year. This places him in the Running Buddy group. Later in the same calendar year, he donates $60. This moves him to the Stomp 'Em group for that calendar year. With each progressive year, you can collect as many donor seals as you want in your signature box (one to be displayed for each year you donate).
The groups are broken down this way, along with their special donor medal signatures:Platinum - BIG FOOT ($100+)Gold - STOMP 'EM ($75 - $99)Silver - HANGIN' TEN ($50 - $74)Bronze - DOUBLE TAKE ($25 - $49)Copper - RUNNING BUDDY ($1 - $24)
TOTAL RAISED (thru 07/25/11): $1,495TOTAL RAISED (07/26/11 through 12/31/11): $1,872
GRAND TOTAL 2011: $3,367For more info about this fundraiser, please visit here --> More Odd Looks
The Barefoot Runners Society is a running club registered in Georgia as an LLC. We are no longer a non-profit corporation registered in Florida because we no longer have a registered agent living in Florida (which is required to file an Annual Report); the cost to file for federal 501c3 non-profit status at this time is too expensive; and filing corporate taxes were too high. Once we have the funds and the time is right, we will work toward filing for federal 501c3 status. Click here for the --> Financial Summary.
No one at the Barefoot Runners Society receives a wage and all efforts are voluntary; many of our members volunteer their time in some way or another to support our running club. Some have stepped up to lead a chapter club in their area, some have taken on roles from administering the site, moderating the forums, writing articles, creating artwork, managing the Library, etc., while others have made monetary donations. Every little bit helps to keep our club going and growing. We all must do our part. If the BRS has made an impact in your life and if you believe in what we are doing here and can contribute in some way, we would more than appreciate it. Please locate the Donate Button on the site or email BarefootTJ@TheBarefootRunners.org for more info on how you can help your club.
